Why thank you kindly for saying so. The clarity of the ice over the moss & algae really magnified the texture - watching the waves of cold, cold, cold water wash it clean every few seconds was entrancing.

The light was odd that day, and when I saw the liquid crystal look of that wet rock under the waves, I simply had to try capture it.

Yah. The light and that effect lasted only something like 15 minutes. I walked along the lakeside in a reverie, totally blissed for most of that time, before I suddenly realised I had to catch it before the light faded.
